Typical Applications of Dow mLLDPE

  • Food Packaging Films. DOW mLLDPE is widely used in flexible food packaging that requires excellent strength, sealing performance, and product presentation. Typical applications include fresh food packaging, frozen food bags, meat packaging, dairy packaging, snack packaging, vacuum packaging, and multilayer barrier films.
  • Industrial Packaging. The resin provides the durability required for demanding industrial packaging applications, including heavy-duty sacks, chemical packaging, construction material bags, liner films, and transportation packaging.
  • Stretch Films. Its high elongation, puncture resistance, and load retention characteristics make DOWLEX™ mLLDPE an excellent material for pallet stretch wrap and logistics packaging films.
  • Shrink Films. The combination of toughness and dimensional stability makes the resin suitable for beverage bundling, consumer goods packaging, multipack applications, and industrial shrink films.
  • Agricultural Films. DOWLEX™ mLLDPE is used in greenhouse films, mulch films, silage films, and crop protection films, where durability and long-term outdoor performance are essential.
