DOWLEX™ 2607G is a high-performance Linear Low-Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) resin developed by Dow Inc. As part of the well-established DOWLEX™ polyethylene resin family, it offers an excellent balance of processing stability, mechanical strength, toughness, and stretching performance.

Manufactured using advanced polyethylene polymerization technology, LLDPE 2607G features a well-balanced molecular structure that delivers outstanding film performance while maintaining excellent processability. The resin is primarily designed for cast film applications, especially industrial stretch film production, and is also suitable for blown film and multilayer coextrusion applications.

Main Uses of DOWLEX™ 2607G

  • Industrial Stretch Film. It is widely used in the production of high-performance industrial stretch films due to its excellent stretchability, tensile strength, and puncture resistance. Films produced with this resin provide reliable load stability during transportation and storage, making them suitable for pallet wrapping films, logistics packaging films, and industrial protection films. Its outstanding stretching performance also helps reduce film consumption while maintaining excellent packaging efficiency.
  • Hygiene Film Applications. With its excellent flexibility, softness, and processing stability, DOWLEX™ 2607G is suitable for various hygiene film applications. It can be used in the production of diaper backsheet films, adult incontinence product films, and feminine hygiene product films. The resin provides a good balance of toughness and flexibility, helping manufacturers achieve comfortable, durable, and high-quality hygiene products.
  • Multilayer Coextrusion Films. This material is an excellent choice for multilayer coextrusion film structures, where it can be combined with other polyethylene grades and functional polymers to enhance overall film performance. It contributes to improved mechanical strength, sealing performance, toughness, and packaging durability, making it suitable for advanced flexible packaging solutions, composite films, and specialty industrial packaging applications.
  • Artificial Turf and Monofilament Applications. Due to its stable extrusion performance, mechanical strength, and consistent processing characteristics, DOWLEX™ 2607G can also be used in selected monofilament applications, including artificial grass fibers and other extruded polymer filament products. The resin supports continuous extrusion processes while maintaining excellent product consistency and durability.
