What Are Product Performance of Sinopec LDPE 1C7A?

  • Excellent Extrusion Coating Processability. LDPE 1C7A exhibits a relatively high melt flow rate (around 7 g/10 min), ensuring smooth melt flow and stable operation in high-speed coating lines, improving productivity and efficiency.
  • Good Adhesion Performance. The resin provides strong adhesion to various substrates such as paper, aluminum foil, and plastic films, forming uniform and reliable coating layers.
  • Outstanding Heat Sealing Properties. It offers low seal initiation temperature and consistent seal strength, making it ideal for food and liquid packaging applications.
  • Good Flexibility and Impact Resistance. Its high branched structure contributes to excellent softness and resistance to impact, suitable for flexible packaging and composite materials.
  • Low Water Vapor Permeability. In coating applications, Sinopec LDPE 1C7A helps improve moisture barrier performance, enhancing the protective function of packaging materials.

Main Uses of LDPE 1C7A

  1. Film Applications. LDPE 1C7A is widely used in both blown and cast film processes, including general-purpose packaging films, agricultural films, and lamination base films.
  2. Packaging. It is suitable for flexible packaging applications such as food bags, shopping bags, inner liners, and lightweight protective packaging, offering good sealability and process consistency.
  3. Extrusion Coating & Lamination. The resin can be used for extrusion coating on paper, aluminum foil, and plastic substrates, commonly applied in food and liquid packaging as well as industrial packaging materials.
  4. Wire & Cable. Suitable for low-voltage wire and cable insulation and jacketing, providing excellent flexibility and electrical performance.
  5. Other Applications. It can also be used for the production of flexible tubing, lightweight extruded products, and general-purpose molded items.

Processing Guidelines

LDPE 1C7A is compatible with conventional thermoplastic processing techniques:

  • Blown film processing temperature: 160 – 200°C
  • Extrusion processing temperature: 150 – 210°C
  • Low to moderate shear conditions are recommended to maintain melt stability
  • Additives such as אַנטioxidants, slip agents, and antiblock agents may be incorporated depending on application requirements
