Key Features of LLDPE M500026

  • High Melt Flow (MFR ~50 g/10 min @ 190°C / 2.16 kg). LLDPE M500026 Enables rapid injection molding, excellent mold filling, and suitability for thick- or thin-walled parts.
  • Excellent Low-Temperature Toughness. Maintains part integrity and impact resistance even at sub-zero temperatures, ideal for outdoor applications and cold-chain packaging.
  • Superior ESCR. Ensures durability under mechanical stress, chemical exposure, or long-term service conditions.
  • High Surface Gloss & Appearance. Sabic LLDPE M500026 provides smooth, visually appealing surfaces, suitable for consumer products and container closures.
  • Consistent Processing & Dimensional Stability. Narrow molecular weight distribution allows stable melt behavior, minimizing warpage and defects in large parts.

Main Applications of SABIC M500026

Primary Applications:

  • Large household items: buckets, storage bins, kitchenware
  • Industrial containers: crates, heavy-duty pails
  • Automotive non-structural parts
  • Caps, closures, and lids requiring high gloss and dimensional stability
  • Thick- or variable-wall injection molded parts

Secondary Applications:

  • Carrier resin for masterbatches due to high flowability and excellent dispersion
  • With proper validation, can also be used in limited extrusion or blow molding applications

Processing Recommendations

Injection Molding Guidelines

  • Barrel/Melt Temperature: 180–230 °C
  • Mold Temperature: 15–60 °C (commonly 5–30 °C for standard molds)
  • Injection Pressure: 600–1000 bar (depends on mold, part geometry, and flow path)
  • Back Pressure: Low to moderate
  • Screw Speed: Medium to high for optimal melt homogeneity
  • Drying: Not required; ensure material is free from moisture contamination

Additives: UV stabilizers, antioxidants, antistatics, or colorants can be incorporated during compounding to tailor performance.

    Packaging and Storage

    • Packaging: R-298 titanium dioxide is typically packaged in 25 kg paper-plastic mixed bags. 500 kg and 1000 kg plastic woven bags are also available to meet different customer needs.
    • Storage: The product should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse, away from moisture and direct sunlight. As long as the storage environment is suitable, the product can be stored for long periods without significant changes in performance.
