LLDPE LL6201XR resin is a linear low density polyethylene material produced by ExxonMobil Company. The density value varies slightly depending on the test method, generally between 0.924 and 0.926 g/cm³.  This resin has good gloss and has advantages over similar low-density polyethylene products in toughness, environmental stress cracking resistance, stiffness and heat deformation resistance.

Performance Characteristics

  1. High fluidity. ExxonMobil LL6201XR series is a high-fluidity linear low-density polyethylene grade with good processability and production performance.
  2. Resistant to stress cracking. This LLDPE resin has excellent resistance to environmental stress cracking and is suitable for applications that require high crack resistance.
  3. Thermal stability. It has good thermal stability and can maintain stable performance within a certain temperature range.
  4. Mechanical properties. The mechanical strength such as surface hardness, tensile strength, and rigidity is higher than that of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and close to that of polypropylene (PP), but the toughness is better than that of PP.
  5. Electrical insulation. The LLDPE LL6201XR resin has excellent electrical insulation, especially high-frequency insulation.
  6. Low-temperature performance. It has good low-temperature resistance and can work at -60℃~-80℃.

Processing Method

ExxonMobil LLDPE LL6201XR is suitable for various processing methods such as injection molding and extrusion. During injection molding, the temperature control range is wide, and the nozzle, each section temperature and mold temperature can be adjusted according to specific needs. During extrusion molding, due to its high viscosity, it is necessary to set an appropriate temperature when producing pipes and wire and cable coatings.
