Exceed™ Flow m 1020.RA, formerly known as Exceed™ 1020RA, is a high-performance metallocene polyethylene resin from ExxonMobil. It is based on an ethylene-1-hexene copolymer. The grade is designed to deliver a well-balanced combination of processability and film performance, including tensile strength, impact resistance, puncture resistance, and toughness.

1020RA resin is suitable for a broad range of flexible-film applications, including blown film, cast film, stretch film, shrink film, multilayer packaging, food packaging, heavy-duty bags, and form-fill-seal packaging. ExxonMobil also identifies agricultural film, lamination film, and stand-up pouches among the potential applications for this grade.

Advantages of Exceed™ Flow m 1020.RA

  1. Mechanical Performance. The resin delivers a strong combination of tensile strength, elongation, impact resistance, tear resistance, and puncture performance, supporting demanding flexible-film applications.
  2. Processing Efficiency. Its controlled melt index and balanced polymer structure provide a useful processing profile for film extrusion and help converters achieve a practical balance between productivity and finished-film properties.
  3. High Toughness. High elongation and impact resistance contribute to film durability, particularly in applications exposed to stretching, impact, and mechanical handling.
  4. Packaging Versatility. Exceed™ 1020RA mLLDPE resin can be incorporated into a wide variety of packaging structures, including blown films, cast films, multilayer films, stretch films, shrink films, heavy-duty bags, and form-fill-seal packaging.
  5. Optical Quality. A typical haze of 7.0% and 45° gloss of 62 provide a suitable combination of clarity-related and surface-appearance characteristics for many packaging applications.
