PPH Y26 is a signature grade of isotactic homopolypropylene (PPH). “PPH” represents the homopolymer properties of polypropylene, which boasts a predominantly isotactic molecular chain structure, high crystallinity, and stable mechanical properties. “Y26” is an industry-standard performance designation, emphasizing both fiber spinning suitability and modification compatibility. It belongs to the same spin-modified series as its derivative, PPH-Y26 (Z30S), and their performance parameters are highly similar.

It appears as white granules, is odorless, and free of lumps. Its particle size deviation is ≤0.5mm, surpassing the consistency of general-purpose PP. It is compatible with the automated feeding systems of high-speed spinning equipment, reducing the risk of feeder blockage.

Compared to meltblown PP (such as PPH-Y38Q), PPH Y26 resin has a significantly lower melt index, foregoing ultrafine fiber forming capabilities in favor of enhanced high-speed spinning stability and compatibility with auxiliary materials. It is a leading material in the fiber and compounding industries.

Main Applications of PPH Y26

Sinopec PPH-Y26 is mainly used in the production of high-speed and ultra-high-speed spinning, spunbond non-woven fabrics, and especially has a wide range of applications in decoration, medical and sanitary materials, and clothing.
