PP T05 resin is a general-purpose grade of homopolymer or oligopolymer polypropylene resin. Its core positioning is as a functional base material with “high flow for injection molding and impact resistance,” clearly differentiating it from the “drawing-first” PP T30S.

Its production process primarily utilizes a combined bulk and vapor-phase polymerization process. By manipulating the comonomer content (typically ≤5%) and molecular weight distribution width, PP T05 improves impact resistance and melt flowability while maintaining the rigidity of homopolymer PP, making it suitable for the efficient molding of complex structural products.

Performance Advantages

  • High flow and molding efficiency. Its MFR reaches 8-12g/10min, 3-4 times that of T30S. Its strong melt-filling capability allows it to quickly fill thin-walled (≤1.5mm) and complex molds with multiple ribs. Its injection molding cycle is 20%-30% shorter than that of PP T30S, making it particularly suitable for mass production applications such as home appliance housings and automotive interiors.
  • Optimized impact resistance. Its room-temperature impact strength is ≥6.0kJ/m², over 40% higher than that of standard homopolymer PP. The resulting parts are less susceptible to cracking in everyday collisions and are suitable for impact-resistant structural parts such as car bumpers and washing machine inner frames.
  • Flexible processing compatibility. While primarily injection molding, its excellent flowability allows it to be used for extrusion molding (e.g., for small profiles). Its lower injection molding equipment requirements are lower than those of high-melt-index specialty materials, allowing for stable production on standard small and medium-sized injection molding machines, demonstrating its wide adaptability.

Main Applications

Automotive Manufacturing

Interior Parts: Instrument panel brackets and door panel storage compartments. High-flow molding allows for complex structures with impact resistance to withstand everyday collisions. Some components, after undergoing weathering modification, can be used for small exterior components (such as rearview mirror housings).

Functional Parts: Bumper bumpers and small engine compartment brackets. These components balance lightweighting with structural strength, achieving a weight reduction of up to 30% compared to traditional ABS components.

Home Appliance Manufacturing

Exterior and Structural Parts: Washing machine drum brackets and refrigerator drawer rails. High-flow molding allows for multi-rib design, resulting in impact resistance and reduced breakage risk during use. Some food contact parts, such as yogurt maker liner, use certified models that comply with GB 4806.7.

Small Accessories: Air conditioner vent blades and microwave knobs. High molding efficiency and smooth surface finish eliminate the need for secondary processing.
