PVC SG5 is a general-purpose rigid polyvinyl chloride resin produced via suspension polymerization. It has an average polymerization degree of 950–1100, a K-value of 65–68, and a viscosity ranging from 107 to 118 ml/g. Due to its moderate molecular weight, good processing flowability, and stable physical properties, PVC resin sg5 is widely used in the production of pipes, profiles, sheets, door and window frames, panels, as well as a variety of industrial products.

As a universally applicable PVC resin with excellent performance balance, PVC SG5 combines mechanical strength, processing adaptability, and corrosion resistance. It is the core resin for the building materials industry and hard products. It can also be used for some soft products. It is the most widely used and highest market share base resin in the PVC series. The main brands include Erdos, Zhongtai Chemical, Xinfa, Yihua Group, Xinjiang Tianye Group, Beiyuan, Junzheng, etc.
