Main performance Characteristics

  • Moderate density. This resin has a density of 0.946 g/cm³, which imparts a certain degree of rigidity and strength while maintaining good toughness. This ensures film structural stability and adaptability to various application scenarios.
  • Suitable melt flow rate. At 190°C/2.16 kg, the melt index is 0.18 g/10 min, and at 190°C/21.6 kg, the HLMI (High Load Melt Index) is 15 g/10 min. This facilitates resin flow and molding during processing, making it suitable for film processing using processes such as blow molding.
  • Excellent environmental stress cracking resistance. Under Condition B (100% Igepal), F50 is >1000 hours, demonstrating excellent environmental stress cracking resistance. Films made from this resin are less susceptible to cracking due to environmental stress during use, extending the film’s service life.
  • High flexural modulus. A flexural modulus of 1150 MPa gives the material a certain degree of rigidity, enabling it to maintain its shape and resist deformation, making it suitable for applications such as packaging that require shape stability.
  • Excellent low-temperature performance. With a brittle temperature below -75°C, it maintains good toughness and resists brittle cracking even at low temperatures, making it suitable for packaging in low-temperature environments, such as frozen food packaging.
  • Food contact compliant. Complying with EU Directive 10/2011 and US FDA 21CFR 177.1520(c)3.2a, Lotrene TR 144 can be used in food packaging, ensuring food safety and hygiene.
  • Good chemical stability. HDPE TR 144 offers excellent resistance to most household and industrial chemicals. At room temperature, it is insoluble in all organic solvents and resistant to acids, alkalis, and various salts. The film has low permeability to water vapor and air and low water absorption, effectively blocking moisture and gases, protecting the contents from moisture and deterioration.
