HYOSUNG R200P PPR is a high-quality polypropylene random copolymer. It is a non-toxic, odorless, milky white, highly crystalline polymer and one of the lightest plastics available today.Its density is approximately 0.91g/cm³ and its molecular weight is between 80,000 and 150,000. And pp R200P has the features of excellent long-term hydrostatic pressure resistance, heat stability, impact strength balance, excellent stiffness, chemical stability, enhanced processability and environment-friendly. Therefore, R200P is suitable for hot & cold water supply pipes and fittings as well as radiator connecting pipes.

  • Pipes and fittings. HYOSUNG R200P resin is an ideal material for making high temperature and high pressure resistant pipes and fittings, and is widely used in cooling and heating water supply systems, industrial pipelines and other fields.
  • Other fields. Due to the excellent performance of PP R200P resin, it is also used in the production of medical equipment, tableware, film products, injection molding products and other fields.

Processing performance

  • Drying treatment. Drying treatment is usually not required if stored properly.
  • Melting temperature. The melting temperature range is 220~275℃, but be careful not to exceed 275℃.
  • Mold temperature. The mold temperature is recommended to be between 40~80℃, and the degree of crystallization is mainly determined by the mold temperature.
  • Injection pressure and speed. The injection pressure can be as high as 1800bar, and the injection speed is usually high-speed injection molding to reduce internal pressure.
